US President Donald Trump On #MeToo: ‘Never Ever Call A Woman Beautiful, Please, You Are Not Allowed To'

Two years after it began, the #MeToo movement took the world by storm and since then, has become a global movement. While it started in the United States after sexual abuse allegations against a Hollywood mogul came up two years ago, the movement spread to all parts of the world and shifted the entire power dynamics. Now, the US President Donald Trump made a remark referencing the #MeToo movement recently at the Young Black Leadership Summit at the White House.
US President Donald Trump said that under the MeToo movement, we are not allowed to say women are beautiful anymore. While speaking at the Young Black Leadership Summit at the White House, Trump was talking about activist Candace Owens and said that he saw her probably three or four years ago. He said, “How long would it be, Charlie? Four? Maybe four. I saw this woman on television. I said, “Man, I don’t want to mess with her. She’s tough. She’s tough. this woman on television. I said, “Man, I don’t want to mess with her. She’s tough. She’s tough.Now, I’m not allowed to say it — you know that. I’m not allowed to say it anymore, but she’s also beautiful.” He further added that under the MeToo generation, we’re not allowed to say it, “So all of you young brilliant guys, never, ever call a woman beautiful, please. You’re not allowed to do it. And I’ve kept doing it and I’ve never been told by that woman never to do it."
In other news, American pop singer Rihanna recently launched a scathing attack on the President of America, Donald Trump by calling him the most mentally ill human being in America. While talking to Vogue magazine, Rihanna said, “The most mentally ill human being in America right now seems to be the president.”
