South superstar Thalapathy Vijay also known as Vijay has garnered fame with his stellar performances in his films. The actor was last seen in the film Bigil that minted more than Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box-office. As Vijay has moved on to his next project, recently, while shooting for film Master, south superstar Vijay was summoned by Income Tax officials leaving the shooting paused midway. Now, fans of Vijay took to social media to trend #WeStandWithVijay on social media extending their support towards him.

On Twitter, fans started trending #WeStandWithVijay after understanding about him being summoned by Income Tax officials on the sets of his film Master. As Vijay was shooting with director Lokesh Kanagaraj at the Neyveli coal mine in a clashing scene with Vijay Sethupathi, the actor met with income tax officers and was then taken by them for further investigation. Hence, supporting Vijay, one fan tweeted, “There is NO CASE against VIJAY ! Meanwhile, with the shooting of the film stalled midway, the filming of Master was canceled after the raid. Earlier, Income Tax officials also raided AGS Entertainment office who are the producers of Vijay’s film Bigil. 



While Vijay has been taken by the Income Tax officials, the fans continue to stand in solidarity with their favourite star through social media and wait for his speech.
