Ace Tennis Player Sania Mirza who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has a lot of work to do in the coming few months. Her sister Anam is all set to tie the knot and of course, as an elder sister, Sania has a big task ahead. Anam is going to marry Mohammad Azharuddin’s son named Asad. In her recent interview, Sania confirmed the news. She fondly spoke about Asad and said that he is a lovely boy who is perfect for her sister.

In an interview with Times of India, Sania Mirza was quoted saying, “She (Anam) is actually getting married in December. We just came back from her bachelorette trip in Paris. We are really excited.” Further adding, “She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it.”

Not so long ago, Sania Mirza had taken to her social media account to share a picture with Asad and captioned it as ‘family’. The image had her posing alongside Asad. We guess that’s when Asad and Anam decided to settle in matrimony and got their families introduced.


Sania is extremely close to her sister and she calls her, her ‘rock’. On Anam’s birthday, Sania had penned a lovely post for her. Though Sania is a tennis player, Anam chose to make a carrier in fashion. This would be Anam’s second marriage and she was earlier married to a man named Akbar. They tied the knot in 2016, however, within two years their marriage fell apart and they separated. Now, Anam has found love in Asad and they are all set to take the saat pheras.
