The condition in Delhi, at present, is extremely tensed. Adding onto the horror was the recently-held attacks at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Last night, a group of masked goons illegally trespassed into the education premises and created havoc by hitting the students, teachers and damaging the university’s property. This has caused a lot of outrage on social media and a lot of people are expressing their angst in the form of protests and long criticism on the internet. One such case is that of Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker and her mother, who have been quite vocal on their disagreement over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Taking to her social media, Swara shared a video of her urging the citizens on India to gather near JNU and help in stopping the horrific tragedy. She then shared an SMS from her mother that was about the mob’s threat to all the protesters.
