Popular TV stars like Hina Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Kamya Panjabi, Sumona Chakravarti and Shrenu Parikh have taken to their social media and reacted to the encounter news of Dr Disha’s four accused rapists and murderers, which was done by the Hyderabad Police

Only a few days ago, the news of a Hyderabad-based Dr Disha being gang-raped and burnt alive had brewed a storm across the nation. Ever since then, citizens around the world, including celebrities, have been outraging against the horror and demanding justice for the deceased soul. Today, India woke up to the news of all the four-accused being shot dead in an encounter done by the Hyderabad Police. Reportedly, the incident took place after the Hyd police took the accused at the crime for reconstruction; however, they tried to escape. Soon after the news broke, many celebrities have been taking to their social media accounts to express their opinion on the same. A lot of popular TV actors have reacted to the encounter news and they have only positive things to say. Actors like Hina Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Shrenu Parikh, Kamya Panjabi, Sumona Chakravarti and others feel that justice has been served. Hina took to her Instagram story and termed the Hyderabad police as ‘Singham,’ then she also paid tribute to the victim by writing “Rest in peace.”

Kamya Panjabi, on the other hand, lauded the Telangana Police by writing, “Well done.” Ex-Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee tweeted, “Before we think about changing the law, an example has to be set where a citizen of India should feel "example" is perfect and it should be followed. Hyderabad Police set an example today. This is what should be done to rapist.No more wasting of time on hearings, no more mercy petitions, no more police custody. Sumona Chakravarti also shared her opinion by writing, “N this is why salute to the #hyderabadpolice Well done #justiceserved.” Shrenu Parikh, however, had a mixed reaction to the encounter. She wrote, “So do we wait for natural justice for all other daughters too?? The one who’s suffering for fighting back! #UnnaoCase #justiceforpriyanakareddy”
