The festival sees a lot of shows among the Hindu, Sikhs, Jains, and most Buddhists as well and people light oil lamps and lanterns to celebrate the victory of good over evil. While Diwali 2019 commenced on October 25 onwards, the festival of light has kick-started early for Bollywood with lavish parties.
