Coronavirus Outbreak: Prince Charles Ditching His Royal Handshake For A Namaste Leaves Host Confused – WATCH VIDEO
With the outbreak of coronavirus in the world, people are now taking proper measures and precautions from getting infected by the deadly virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic with more than 118,000 confirmed cases and 4,291 deaths in 114 countries. According to the reports in Economic Times, India’s count of infected people is 62 with no confirmed deaths so far from the disease. Even though the virus is rapidly spreading, Bollywood celebs like Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, Soha Ali Khan, Sunny Leone, Sonam Kapoor and many more have come out in open and spreading as much awareness to the masses.

In fact, the shocker news was when Forrest Grump actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita were tested positive with Coronavirus and this obviously stunned many. As this is spreading due to close human contact, the celebs mentioned above have asked to greet people with traditional Indian style which is Namaste instead of a handshake. Following on the same route, a while ago, we came across a video of Prince Charles where he is seen ditching his royal handshake and greets people in traditional Indian style which is a Namaste.

Just like the virus, the video is also going viral in no time. In the video, Charles gets down from his car and goes to do a handshake but then he suddenly remembers about the virus and he quickly changes his gesture to a Namaste. The people who are seen outside his car, to greet him, were also seen greeting Prince Charles with Namaste.

While sharing the video on Twitter, Indian Forest Service Parveen Kaswan, captioned it as, "Namaste. See we Indians told to do this to the world many many years ago. Now just a class on ‘how to do namaste properly’. #CoronaVirus” Bollywood celeb Anupam Kher and Salman Khan reminded us that we need to go back to our Indian tradition which is greeting people with a ‘namaste’ instead of a handshake or a hug. ALSO READ: Coronavirus Outbreak: 5 Food Items You Need To Include In Your Diet Right Away To Boost Immunity
