With the Novel Coronavirus pandemic spreading much faster than expected and taking many lives across the world, some celebrities like Tom Hanks, Juventus star Daniele Rugani, Rudy Gobert and a few others have been detected positive with the deadly virus. With Cristiano Ronaldo under quarantine at his home, reports recently circulated that the footballer has turned all his CR7 hotels into hospitals and for all the COVID-19 affected patients. Now, the hotel spokesperson denies the claims that the hotel was being turned into a hospital.

According to goal.com, Cristiano Ronaldo’s hotel in Lisbon has denied the reports clearly and mentioned that they have not been briefed about anything in that matter. The hotel spokesperson in his statement said that they are a hotel and clarified that the hotel is not being turned into a hospital or help center. The spokesperson said, “We are a hotel. We are not going to be a hospital.”

Moving on, the spokesperson also mentioned that even with the COVID-19 outbreak, a day in the hotel is like everyone else and they continue to remain a hotel. The hotel spokesperson said, “It is a day like everyone else, we are and will remain a hotel. We are being phoned by the press. I wish you a nice day.” Meanwhile, as Ronaldo’s hotel denied claims of turning into a hospital, about a few days back, the footballer took to his social media to share a support message for fans all over.



For the unversed, recently, news broke out that all CR7 hotels were to be turned into COVID-19 help centers that will be used free of charge for people who have been tested positive with the virus. The reports also mentioned that the cost of medications and that of the staff members will be paid by the Portuguese football star himself.
