Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau has finally heaved a sigh of relief. The PM’s spouse was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 12. An announcement came from the PM’s office after she returned from her London trip. Fortunately, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau has recovered from COVID-19 and shared of feeling better in her statement on social media.  And meanwhile, as we write about it, this encouraged the Canadian PM to encourage people to follow safety measures to fight against COVID-19.

As per reports in abcnews.go.com, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau’s statement read, “I am feeling so much better” After she was tested positive, PM and their three kids were seen practicing self-isolation by staying back at home, as besides his wife’s nobody was tested positive. Thanking all her well wishers, her statement read, “From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love.”

PM Justin Trudeau continues to stay at home and makes sure to keep his province safe, his latest announcement came as a helping hand for the needy ones.  Posting a video on his Twitter account, he mentioned Canadian Emergency Benefit helping individuals who lost income due to the outbreak of this pandemic.  


He tweeted, “The new Canadian Emergency Benefit will help those who have lost their income due to COVID-19. Watch this video for more information.”

Encouraging people to practice social distancing he set an example by holding a conference with his Youth Council via a video conference.
