The spread of COVID- 19 has forced the whole country into lockdown and stay indoors. One of the few bright lights in this is the comeback of Ramayan and Mahabharat from the 90s onto our television screens. In the wake of the lockdown, it was announced that the popular shows from the 90s will be telecast on DD National on a daily basis and that brought some happiness to the whole nation’s lives. Both the series hold a lot of nostalgia for people from the 90s as it was one of the first few shows to be televised in the country.

In light of the reruns starting, Amul has also decided to bring some more nostalgic moments back into our life by bringing their popular ads from the ‘90s. Amul has been known to come up with witty advertisements and marketing campaigns that reflect the current events as well. It is always a treat to enjoy not just their dairy products but also their advertisements. Amul ads from back then used to be iconic, and now the old ads will also be telecast with the reruns of Mahabharat and Ramayan today.
