On January 26, the NBA star Kobe Bryant’s sudden demise brewed a storm amongst the fans who were devastated to hear this tragic news. Many celebrities like Beyonce, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Ellen DeGeneres, Justin Bieber and several others have extended their love and support to his wife Vanessa Bryant and kids - Natalia, Bianka, and Capri and also said how ‘life can be so fragile and unpredictable.’ Speaking of which, his demise has made the Indian Skipper Virat Kohli realize that life is fickle and that his death has put things in perspective.

Speaking to the media a day before the first One-Day International (ODI) against hosts New Zealand at Seddon Park in Hamilton, Virat talked about the NBA star and he said, “It was heartbreaking, it was a shock for everyone. I grew up watching those NBA games in the morning when someone passes away like that, it does put everything in perspective. "Sometimes, we get to too caught up thinking about the game, about what shot to play, what ball we need to ball, but we forget to live life. It has put everything in perspective for me. I am bracing life and I am appreciating it. Virat Kohli too had shared a heartfelt note for Kobe on his account with a picture of Bryant, he wrote, “Absolutely devastated to hear this news today. So many childhood memories of waking up early and watching this magician doing things on the court that I would be mesmerized by. Life is so unpredictable and fickle. His daughter Gianna passed away too in the crash. Iam absolutely Heartbroken. Rest in peace. Strength and condolences to the family.”
