After Announcing Wedding And Pregnancy With Natasa, Hardik Pandya Speaks Up On Koffee With Karan Controversy; ‘Family Got Abused’
Once again Hardik Pandya opened up about Koffee With Karan and revealed that his family was abused and father’s interview was mocked. The all-rounder recently announced pregnancy and wedding with fiancée Natasa
Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya was the talk of the town when he appeared on Karan Johar’s controversial chat show Koffee With Karan season 6. The episode not only shook the cricketer’s life but also found themselves embroiled in controversies for their sexiest comments on the show. The episode received backlash so much so that it was then removed from the OTT platform. The way Pandya spoke about women and flaunted his so-called Casanova image on the show didn’t go down well with people. Taking to social media users had slammed the cricketer left, right and centre. While many labelled the episode ‘creepy’ and ‘disgusting’ others called him a ‘spoiled brat with no substance.’
Now once again, the all-rounder has opened up about the controversy. Speaking to Harsha Bhogle, the dad-to-be said, “When that happened, I said to myself let's just accept it and try to correct the mistake. If I would've not accepted that mistake, that part would have still been in me. That phase does not bother me anymore because my family has accepted it. He went on to explain, “I'm a family guy. Without family, I am no one. My family is my backbone. The Hardik Pandya you're seeing right now is because of the people behind the scenes, looking after me. They make sure that I am mentally stable and I stay happy,”
Not only that, but Hardik also opened up on being his family being criticized and targeted at that point of the time. He said his family was abused and his father’s interview was also mocked by many. He added, “My family got abused. My father gave an interview post the incident and people made a mockery of it. What hurt me the most was my action caused my family problems, and that's not acceptable.”
Meanwhile, Pandya is currently enjoying the new phase with wife Natasa Stankovic. Sharing the good news the all-rounder had written, “Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon.
