Manav Gohil, Singer Jash Speak About The Song Challa Diamond Da; Actor Also Recalls The Time When He Gifted A Diamond Ring To Wife- EXCLUSIVE
Actor Manav Gohil is pretty excited about his new song Challa Diamond Da. The actor along with the singer of the track, Jash engaged in an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com wherein they spoke about what went into the making of the song; the actor even recalled some interesting experiences
The song Challa Diamond Da crooned by singer Jashodhara Chatterjee better known as Jash starring actor Manav Gohil is being loved by viewers. Recently, the singer and actor visited SpotboyE.com office to discuss not only the response they are receiving for the song but also the reason behind making it. The song is choreographed by none other than Ganesh Acharya who also features in it. For Manav, matching steps with Ganesh was extremely difficult and it also made him nervous.
The track which shows the woman demanding a diamond ring from her man reminded Manav of the moment when his dear wife Shweta Kawatra placed a similar demand. He says, "I remember when me and Shweta were getting married and she asked me one day, ‘Ring kab select karne chalenge? And I was like what! Ladkiyon ko sahi mein ring itni pasand hoti hai? She answered ‘ring to chahiye hi na baby’. I actually bought a ring which cost me around 3 lakh.” WATCH VIDEO BELOW:
Manav who was last seen in Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Jain starrer Super 30 is gearing up for his next two projects in Bollywood which include Baaghi 3 and one with Renuka Shahne. But the actor who is a big name in TV industry has no plans to shift completely to films as he wants to do good work and doesn't mind doing TV projects.
Manav agrees with the fact that earlier, it was difficult for TV actors to get work in Bollywood, "There was a time when it was difficult to jump across as the wall was very high. But today, things are script oriented and maintaining stardom is very difficult. Things have changed and especially because of the OTT platform coming in".
On the other hand, Jash who is from the US and arrived in India to create this song wants to make it big in Bollywood as a singer.
