Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz’s latest fight in the Bigg Boss 13 house has raised eyebrows. The argument turned so ugly that Bigg Boss had to intervene and the two were called in the confession room, twice. We saw several celebs discussing about it outside the house as well and social media went berserk. So, we decided to talk to Asim's brother Umar Riaz about the entire fiasco. 

Were you expecting Sidharth and Asim to lock horns again?
It was unfortunate to see them fight again. And this time too, Sidharth got a bit more aggressive, violent and abusive. I’m not saying he was alone at fault, but even if he felt a nudge from Asim, he must have also given a nudge back. He pushed Asim so bad that he fell down. Also, a fan of Asim has sent me a video where I can see a table and the way he pushed him, he would have hurt his head badly.

Do you expect Bigg Boss to take strict action against Sidharth?
I really want the makers to give him harsh punishment which he deserves for getting physical every single time.

Sidharth even went to the extent of saying things like ‘You and Asim are your father’s mistake’…
That's how his personality is. 

Did something between you and Sidharth happen during the family week that the audience missed out?
There was nothing more than what was shown in the episode. I told him ‘I thought you are like an elder brother to Asim’ and I urged them to not abuse each other. Yet, he abused me and I’m sure had my mom entered the house, this guy would have abused her as well because he has no shame. But, I am proud that Asim didn't utter a single word against Sidharth’s mother when he met her in the house. I had told Asim that you don’t cross your limits, let him say whatever he wants.

This fight has once again led some celebrities to come out in Asim’s support...
I’m extremely thankful to people like Gautam Gulati, Shilpa Shinde, Gauahar Khan for supporting my brother. They too feel that Asim is real and is not doing it for the show. He is maintaining his dignity. This time, he was certainly not at fault. And that’s why, these artistes have tweeted to show their support towards him.

There are also some celebs who are not liking Asim. For instance, Manveer Gurjar tweeted that Asim deserves a tight slap… 
Not just Manveer, sometime back, even Kamya Punjabi too had written something similar. I want to say that being celebs, the things that they are writing on social media, are not making them look good either. That just shows what kind of people are. Asim has nothing to do with them as he is locked up inside and those who have written such things about my brother don’t even know the real story. If they are not liking him, they can keep their point of view to themselves. If you are on social media, you have to be diplomatic and you just can't abuse anyone. Even if you feel slapping someone, it’s wrong to write that way on a public forum.




Do you feel Asim showed biased behaviour during the horse task and Sidharth raised a valid point?
If you remember, he is the same Sidharth Shukla who was sitting and laughing on the couch in the secret room when Paras Chhabra was being the biased sanchaalak just before he went out for his finger surgery. Why? Because at that time, he had a fight with Asim and now when Bigg Boss made Asim the sanchaalak, Sidharth couldn't digest it and hence he purposely created an issue.

Mahira, Shefali and Paras were seen supporting Sidharth in the fight though... 
Paras does intervene but he doesn't do things which aren’t required. However, Mahira jumps out of nowhere in the conversation and irritates to another level. I feel she does this just to be seen on the show. In Hina Khan’s episode, you all would have seen Mahira confess it loud and clear that she does it to provide content but people keep saying things like she is there only because of Paras. Also, speaking of Shefali, she has nothing left to do on the show. She is trying to talk to Asim but he is not giving her any bhaav. So, she is just supporting Sidharth because he is a strong player and also a rival of Asim.
