Bigg Boss 13: Namish Taneja Clarifies, 'I'm Not Anti Sidharth Shukla So Why Will I Call Him 'Kutta'?'- EXCLUSIVE
Television actor Namish Taneja made a guest entry on Bigg Boss 13 during New Years' Eve. He was seen interacting with the inmates. The actor even got lashed out by Sidharth Shukla fans as they complained that he called Sid a 'kutta'. In an exclusive chat, the actor lends clarification on that amongst several other things
TV actor Namish Taneja who is currently seen on the show Vidya went inside Bigg Boss 13 house to celebrate the New Year with the contestants. However, his visit didn't go well with fans of Sidharth Shukla who trolled him miserably for addressing Sidharth as a 'dog'. And now talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Namish clarifies everything:
How were your New Year celebrations with contestants of Bigg Boss 13?
It was a wonderful experience. There was a different kind of energy inside.
If you get a chance to participate as a contestant in future, will you go ahead?
Until I personally visited that house, I have always mentioned in my interviews that I don't want to ever participate on this reality show. I used to feel that being inside where the cameras are following you 24/7 will not be easy. But now, I have changed my mind. I would definitely like to go inside the house as a contestant because it will be exciting.
In the episode, we saw you spending maximum time with Rashmi Desai; do you know her from before?
I have met Rashami before as we have been part of the same channel. And whenever some award function or merger episodes used to happen, we have definitely seen each other. Not only her, but everyone who is locked inside is known by me via via after all we are from the same TV industry.
But we saw you counselling Rashami?
After whatever episodes I saw, I felt that she is getting disturbed with every little thing. Hence, when I got a chance to meet her I just guided her to not be affected by every small thing and told her to concentrate more on the game.
Well, Sidharth Shukla fans are complaining that you called him a 'Kutta'...
I know but I didn't understand why are they saying that. See, I am not anti Sidharth then why will I call him Kutta. In fact, I will never use such words for anyone. Me and Sidharth spent really good time inside. The way we met and did masti, I didn't even feel that we are meeting for the first time. Unfortunately, it's just a one hour show, so everything doesn't get telecast.
Then what exactly went wrong?
Basically, while I was explaining Rashami to not react on everything and get distracted she said people poke you and then you tend to do it. So I just used a phrase that 'Sher chalta hai toh kutte bhaukte hai but woh to react nahi karta'. And I was not addressing anyone in particular to be honest it has just blown out of proportion.
Were you expecting this kind of reaction when you saw the episode?
Yes kind of because the way the episodes get edited, controversy ho hi jaati hai. But it's okay as after all it was a visit to a controversial house. And fans toh Salman Sir ko bhi biased bol dete hain. Who am I?
Who accordingly to you has the highest chance of winning the show?
Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Asim Riaz and Shehnaaz Gill. But at the same time, I also see Paras Chhabra in Top 5.
