Bigg Boss 13: Mahira Sharma's Mother Sania Says, ‘I Don't Think Paras Chhabra Is Using My Daughter For The Game’- EXCLUSIVE
Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma's closeness in Bigg Boss 13 has irked his girlfriend Akanksha Puri to bits. Even host Salman Khan questioned him and pointed out how he had said to his GF that he is using Mahira only for the game. Now, Mahira's mother in an exclusive chat has given her opinions on all of this and much more
Bigg Boss 13 contestants got an opportunity to meet their family members during the family week. Mahira Sharma's mother Sania entered the house and we saw her warning Paras to not kiss her daughter on National TV. We got in touch with her for a candid chat post her visit and also quizzed her on host Salman Khan's Vaar on Paras Chhabra’s closeness with Mahira. Here are the excerpts:
Tell us about your visit in the Bigg Boss 13 house. How did it go?
It was really great. People praised me a lot. All the girls present in the house told me that I’m very pretty and Mahira is my duplicate.
That's quite a compliment...
Yes, but the channel didn't air that portion in the episode.
Why so?
Probably they didn't have the time. In fact, they edited a lot of things.
Can you elaborate?
Mahira ke haath kaafi jagah pe jale hue the rotiyan bana bana ke. Main kaafi pareshan hogayi yeh dekhkar but usne turant haath peeche chhupa liya. But I got very emotional seeing her in that state. Her knee was also injured during a task. However, she told me it’s recovering and that they have a good medical team.
We saw you warning Paras to stay away from Mahira…
I didn't ask him to stay away as I like their friendship. But I told him not to kiss my daughter as it looks awkward on screen.
Paras has confessed his feeling for Mahira many times. What you have to say to that?
I don't think he actually means what he says as he keeps saying all of this in a fun way. They are just good friends and share a strong bond.
Do you think Mahira is infatuated by him?
If you have seen in one of the episodes, Paras and Mahira were having a conversation as to what will they do post the show. And Paras told her ‘chal shaadi kar lete hai’. Mahira immediately said ‘teri meri soch nahi milti aur hum bas acche dost hai’. So I don't think Mahira has anything for him in her heart apart from friendship.
Shehnaaz's father told Mahira that Paras is responsible for breaking her friendship with Shehnaaz. Do you agree?
Shehnaaz used to like Paras very much in the beginning of the show. But he has always prioritized Mahira over her. So this has definitely made her feel bad and somewhere it is the reason that she drifted away from my daughter. But it’s pretty normal kyuki dil ka maamla hai.
Do you think Mahira is following your guidance?
Absolutely! I saw that in the upcoming promo, Rashami and Paras are doing kitchen duties when Asim comes and talks on Rashami’s behalf. That moment, Mahira corrects him and says ‘let her talk for herself and take a stand’ as when Paras speaks on her behalf, everyone thinks she doesn’t take a stand for herself.
We saw host Salman Khan schooling Paras in this Weekend Ka Vaar for sending a message to Akanksha that he is using Mahira for just for the game…
I don't think he is doing that. He also cleared to Salman that he hasn't used the word 'Pyaada' and asked them to show the footage and if proven wrong, he would leave the show.
Then, what do you think is going on between Akanksha and Paras then?
I don't know but Paras has said that things are not good between the two and he wants to leave her. So, I’m also not understanding what is actually happening.
Earlier too, Paras had sent a letter to his girlfriend Akanksha Puri...
Yes, I had read somewhere that Paras had sent out a message to Akanksha but we can't believe all the information right. As when we send clothes to the contestants, there is a team that scans everything in the machine and then it goes inside. So, it’s not possible for us to share anything inside as they check everything but I really don't know if the same procedure gets followed when the clothes are sent back. I don't feel someone will take such a big risk of sending a letter knowing the procedure is so strict.
