Bigg Boss 13, Kashmera Shah INTERVIEW: 'My Sis-in-Law Arti Singh Has Something For Sidharth Shukla But Isn't Realising It'- EXCLUSIVE
Kashmera Shah had entered Bigg Boss 13 as Arti Singh's connection for the Family Week and she marked her observations. Post her exit, we interviewed the actress who spoke about Arti's performance in the game, her rapport with other inmates and lots more
Kashmera Shah has been a part of the first Bigg Boss, so she knows the game quite well. Now, as she had entered in Bigg Boss 13 for the family week as Arti Singh's connection, the actress had a good time inside. Post her exit, we caught up with Kashmera as she discussed Arti Singh's equation with Sidharth Shukla and the rest of the inmates, her observations about each of them and lots more.
Here are the excerpts from our conversation:
When you entered the house, we saw you wanted to cut Vishal Aditya Singh’s hair. What was the reason?
Yes, I wanted to do that. Because Arti loves her hair and during a task, when Vishal told her to cut her hair she agreed. Now when she agreed, he should have stopped her and given her some other task to do, but he didn't and that hit me. Also, not Vishal but his younger brother Kunal chopped off his hair inside the house (laughs).
Yet, we saw you sharing a good bond with Vishal and in fact, you even helped him in his duty…
Vishal is a good human being and he was just playing his game. I helped him to wash the dishes because he had nearly 60-70 utensils to wash. There were two teams in the house- one of Asim and the other of Sidharth. Because of Arti, I landed up in Sidharth's team so he didn't give me any work. But I had decided well before, that I will do the household chores when I enter the house. See, outside the house, I am quite pampered.
We remember how Salman Khan entered the house once to clean the dishes and washroom. Do you think the house was unhygienic?
When I went inside, it was clean because more than the housemates, their connections were keeping it clean. The inmates were on a relax mode. However, Arti worked hard as she used to cook food for all. Then, Paras used to make tea for everyone and some others were also quite there. The only person who wasn't visible and didn't do any work was Himanshi Khurana. Usne ek cup chai bhi khud se nahi li. Asim used to clean bathrooms but maine karte dekha nahi. Vikas used to help in cooking and Vishal and his brother Kunal also worked really hard.
We saw you having an argument with Vikas. What exactly went wrong?
Vikas tried to make this his game which I didn't like because it wasn’t mine or his game, but it was supposed to be our game. When you want to be a leader, you should command respect and not demand it. Usne demand ki aur main kisi ko follow nahi karti.
But again, the task was discarded...
Yeah, Himanshi injured herself so the task was called off. But if the round would have happened, we would have definitely won it, because I had held Shefali so tightly that she couldn’t move. She got angry on me and said things like ‘Aise kaun game khelta hai?’ and then Arti gave it back to her by saying ‘Tune bhi toh aise hi khela tha. Rashami ko pakad ke rakha tha previous task mein.’ So, I was disappointed when the task was called off.
Did you really want Arti to be with Sidharth Shukla, as in, like a couple?
I felt that Arti has something for Sidharth but she isn't realising it. Actually, me and Arti are more of friends, than sisters-in-law. Whenever Arti likes someone, I am the first person whom she talks to. Then, I stalk that guy and share my opinions. Hence, I asked her honestly if she liked him and is herself not aware of it. However, she told me that their temperaments don’t match so I gave up.
Do you think Sidharth and Shehnaaz are in love?
I don't know much about it, but the kind of friendship that Sidharth shares with Shehnaaz is definitely not with Arti.
Was Rashami upset with Himanshi for discussing Arhaan Khan in the house?
Rashmi was very angry with Himanshi for bringing up Arhaan’s topic in the house. Honestly, I have just seen Himanshi during a task and during Weekend ka Vaar, otherwise, she and Asim used to vanish. We used to feel awkward inside thinking that kahin unhe aisa naa lage ki hum unko hi dekhne aaye hai. So I hardly interacted with them. Also I discovered that Himanshi was just talking about herself.
If not Arti, who else do you think deserves to take the trophy home?
Sidharth Shukla as he is very funny, logical and real.
What about Rashami. Do you think she is real in the house?
Rashami is not real. She is very cunning which is okay as that must be her strategy, but I would want Sidharth to win, if Arti doesn't.
She is capable enough of finding a groom for herself. I want her to take her own sweet time and decide what she wants to do. We will not go against her choice, we will let her decide.
