HIT OR FLOP: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Nach Baliye 9, Kundali Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2?
We return with our weekly column to tell you guys which show managed to hold on to its position on the charts and which failed to do so. A quick look at the top 10 shows of Week 30
We enter Week 30 and I know for a fact that you guys are super duper excited to know which are the top 10 shows of the week! So without wasting any more time, let’s begin with the show that sits proud on the top slot. So, Ekta Kapoor’s Kundali Bhagya has scored a hattrick as it takes the top slot for the third consecutive week in a row. Second in line is Kundali Bhagya which is on its way for a hattrick as last week too, the show was seated on number 2 slot. So, if next week too, it manages to stay on the same position, then it’s going to be a hattrick.
Just like last week, shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are occupying the 3rd and 4th positions respectively. Quite an achievement to stick on to the same spots without any hindrance whatsoever! On the 5th position, we have a brand new entry by the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9. The interesting format of introducing ex-lovers as jodis along with couples, seems to be working just right for the makers.
Tujhse Hai Raabta which was on the 5th spot last time, has slipped to number 7 now. Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has gone up from number 9 to 8 and Superstar Singer Singing Ka Kal has also gone up from 10th to the 9th position. Finally, the last spot is occupied by Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Since a couple of weeks, the show has been dwindling on the charts. Last time, it was on 8th spot and now, it has slipped down to number 10. Hope, Ekta brings in a deadly twist that gets back the show in the top 5 slots.
