HIT OR FLOP: Bigg Boss 13, Naagin 4, Kundali Bhagya Or Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai?
Who likes to slip DOWN? Who doesn't like to shoot UP? But it's that time of the week again when some production houses and channels are not in a good mood. We bring you the report
Just like the game Snakes & Ladders, where you see the opponents slip down and then rise up, our TV shows too experience something similar every week. While some of them luckily stick in the top slots forever, others witness a heavy drop and then bounce back again. And the third category belongs to those shows that make a lot of noise, but don’t manage to come in the Top 10 list of Hindi shows ever.
Let’s begin with the BIG Entrants! Bigg Boss 13 is back in the race. So far, the show has managed to stay in the last few slots and in fact, in the previous week, it disappeared from the Top 10 list. Now, the Bigg Boss 13 Weekend ka Vaar is placed on the 8th spot. Major credit goes to Sidharth Shukla, Asim Riaz and Arhaan Khan who provided enough dope for the viewers to keep them hooked.
Their ugly fights led to more and more controversies in the house and jab controversy banti hai, audience ko maja aata hai. So the show had to return in the list; it was quite expected.
Now, let’s see which show has ranked on the first spot and which has failed to hit the mark. So Kundali Bhagya is back on the pehla position pushing Naagin 4 on the 2nd spot. Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4 is undoubtedly doing well just like its predecessors and we’re sure the leading ladies, Jasmin Bhasin and Nia Sharma are all smiles.
Next in line is Asit Modi’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It’s quite interesting how the show which can be called one of the longest running ones on TV right now continues doing well on the TRP charts after all these years. Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka is ranked on the 4th spot and the 5th position is occupied by Kumkum Bhagya. Well, Kumkum Bhagya had been in the Top 3 slots for several weeks, and it seems the current track isn’t impressing the viewers enough.
Choti Sardani stays stable on the 6th spot for another week now. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is gone up from number 8 to 7 this time. And the last few slots are occupied by reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Indian Idol 11.
