Bigg Boss 13 SHOCKER: Show DROPS In Ratings! Fights And Love Affairs Not Being Taken Seriously?
After gaining the 3rd slot in the Top 10 list, we see Bigg Boss slipping on the TRP charts with a decline in impressions. Can we say, the fights and love stories are becoming monotonous?
The journey of Bigg Boss 13 can be termed as a roller-coaster ride. The show has witnessed numerous ups and downs, but since the last couple of weeks, it registered an upward swing in terms of its TRPs.
Last time, the show had gone up on the charts and was placed at the 3rd spot. It was registering an upward trend and we expected that in Week 3 of 2020, Bigg Boss 13 will reach the numero uno slot. But alas! That didn’t happen and the show instead slipped down to the 5th spot.
The impressions have witnessed a fall from 7316 to 6948. What went wrong? Our observation says that the audience is bored of the same old fight system between Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz. Two of the strongest contenders of the show, have been at loggerheads since several weeks and last week too, after Hina Khan entered the show and announced the Elite Club membership task, the two fought yet again.
It has become highly monotonous and the makers really need to bring some variety now. Also, the last week had no extra spice or masala. Mahira and Paras’ closeness is under scanner and even Rashami Desai-Sidharth Shukla seem to be pretty normal.
Shehnaaz Gill’s antics aren’t helping either. The question is till when can you feed the same old stuff to the viewers? After a point, they are going to lose interest and that’s what seems to have happened in this case. The decline in impressions only goes to prove this. Even the love stories are not gaining enough steam.
Now, in this week, as Himanshi Khurana, Vikas Gupta, Kashmera Shah and the likes have entered the house for the Family Week, we’re expecting to see a growth in numbers next week.
