Actress Shweta Tiwari has been winning hearts for years now with her stellar performances. The actress turned a household name after featuring as Prerna in the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay and is known to all ever since. Like we all are well aware, even though she has had a successful professional life, Tiwari has gone through a lot of struggles in her personal life but has managed to stand strong always. Even after her first marriage failed, as Shweta found love for the second time, but things went kaput, it was once when the actress opened up during an interview about facing backlash from the society when her second marriage hit the rocks.
Speaking with Hindustan Times, Shweta Tiwari revealed that she faced a lot of backlashes and societal pressure when her second marriage went kaput. The actress said, “When I got married at the peak of my career, people told me that it’s over for me. But I didn’t let people’s opinion penetrate my mind. I didn’t even care what my khandaan will say, who only asked me how I was doing once in five years. I just care about myself, my kids, and my immediate family."
The Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actress revealed that as she was at the peak of her career when she got married, people warned her that it was all over for her in the industry. Shweta then shared that she did not let the opinion of the people penetrate her mind and did not care. The actress continued that she didn’t care what her khandaan will say as they only asked her how she was doing once in five years. Shweta Tiwari then concluded that all she cares about is herself, her kids, and her immediate family.
Meanwhile, Shweta Tiwari suffered physical abuse in her first marriage with Raja Chaudhary and the couple are parents to daughter Palak Tiwari who is an internet sensation. Later, after divorce with Chaudhary, Shweta found love again in Abhinav Kohli, but their relationship went kaput when the actress filed a case against him for domestic abuse.
