The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have joined the bandwagon of TV shows resuming shoots. After Naagin 4, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundli Bhagya and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan among others, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the latest show whose cast has gone back to sets to resume the shoot amid the pandemic. Yesterday SpotboyE exclusively told you that the sitcom has finally started shooting. We told you TMKOC’s Tapu Sena including Tapu (Raj Anadkat), Sonu (Palak Sidhwani), Gogi (Samay Shah), Goli (Kush Shah), Pinku (Azhar Shaikh) were clicked on the sets at film city.
Now, as they have resumed shooting, producer Asit Modi asked people to pay for the entire team. Pinkvilla quoted producer Asit Modi saying, “On the 10th of July, 2020 Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has officially resumed its shooting for the show. And very soon we will be amidst you on your TV screens. Please do pray for us, the entire team’s well-being as you have for the past so many years and we too pray for your health and happiness.”
“We have mustered a lot of courage and returned to the sets, keeping in mind that we have to follow the social distancing norms, wear protective gear and adhere to all the guidelines as advised by the government. All we need now is your blessings and very soon we will be back to entertaining you, making you laugh and bringing happiness and positivity in your lives,” he added further.
While speaking exclusively to us, Asit reacted to the pay cut rumours. He said, “It's true we are not resorting to pay cuts and I will try my best that in future too, that we don't have to take such measures. I will also not be forcing any of my actors to come on the set and shoot if they are uncomfortable due to the situation outside. It will be their decision and I will respect it.” (ALSO READ: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Team To Not Resume Shoot Anytime Soon; Makers Highly Concerned About The Safety- Reports)
