Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has been entertaining us for long. Jethalal, Bhide, Iyer, Sodhi, Taarak Mehta and others have been making us laugh for ages. But out of all, it is Tapu Sena that we love the most. The gang of kids lead by Tipendra Jethalal Gadha aka Tapu makes for the coolest gang we have ever seen. The character of Tapu was earlier played by Bhavya Gandhi. Post his exit, Raj Anadkat took over the charge of Tapu Sena. In his latest conversation, the actor revealed how his family got all emotional as he bagged the role. 

In a Live conversation with Telly Chakkar, Raj was quoted saying, "My mother has been quite instrumental in getting me into this field. She was very keen on seeing me on screen. She used to take me for various auditions and that’s how my journey started." He further added that all his family members were in tears when they saw him on screen for the first time. He stated, "Once I had casually told my mother that I will work with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah cast and the wish just manifested and I bagged the show. I remember my mother and other family members were emotional and teary eyed when they saw me on the show”.

Currently, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the shooting of the show is stalled. No new episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma are being shot, and hence, we are left with nothing but to enjoy the old episodes that run on the channel.
