STAR Plus Loses Another Show: Daadi Amma, Daadi Amma Maan Jaao Goes Off Air- EXCLUSIVE
Looks like STAR Plus is pulling plugs off a lot of shows. The latest one to go off-air is Daadi Amma, Daadi Amma, Maan Jaao
Another show from STAR Plus has fallen prey to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, we told you that Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do has been taken off, owing to the crisis and now another show titled from STAR, Daadi Amma...Daadi Amma Maan Jaao! has joined the list.
The main lead of the show, Sheen Das shared her disappointment on the heartbreaking news as she told us, "2020 is not a great year. I got this news in the morning and the show is very close to my heart. I got a golden opportunity to work with such ace actors like Seema Biswas, Mohan Joshi, Shilpa Taleskar ma'am and everyone who was part of it. It was such a great unit and you know how Rajshri makes you feel just like a family.
Expressing her hurt but at the same time being hopeful about the future, Sheen added, "It's heartbreaking that the show went off air so soon, guess we can't do much in this situation. But I just hope that this pandemic ends and better times come soon. I will always be grateful and hold gratitude for what the show has given me. And I wish that it could have continued and had a happy ending. I like to be positive and I am hoping better things are on the way."
The show revolved around Millenial sisters- Anjali and Shraddha, who have dreams to fulfill along with the responsibility of taking care of their grandparents. How they balance their life was the crux of the story.
Besides Sheen Das, Anagha Bhosale, Abhishek Singh and Ankit Raizada played the pivotal roles.
