SORRY Nia Sharma & Krystle D’souza BUT Madhurima Tuli Is Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta

Good news for Madhurima Tuli’s fans as the gorgeous actress has been finalised as the lead actress for Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta.

As we all know that Ekta has been on a hunt to find her Chandrakanta since some time now. The names floating around as the contenders for the role were- Krystle D’souza, Hina Khan, Nia Sharma and Madhurima Tuli and finally it’s Madhurima who made it to the show.

SpotboyE.com told you two days back that Hina Khan has got out of the race as Ekta Kapoor rejected her. We snooped around and found out that it was Ekta who vetoed Hina’s casting. Ekta was of the opinion that the audience was so used to seeing Hina as Akshara, the doting mother of two children, that they will not be able to accept her as a fantasy temptress.

A few days back, Ekta posted an Instagram story where she shared a picture of a girl waist down and wrote, “Here comes our Chandrakanta, Jai Mata Di.” Tinsel town was abuzz with speculations that who has Ekta casted finally as the lead but only we have the answer to that- which is Madhurima Tuli.

The show, which was supposed to go on floor a few months back, was put on hold as Ekta was not convinced with the auditions for the lead role of Chandrakanta. But guess she will be a happy producer now.

While Kritika Kamra is already playing the lead role in the Life OK show- Prem Ya Paheli? – Chandrakanta, it will be interesting to see which Chandrakanta does the audience like eventually.
