last performance as Varun Babbar in Zee TV’s Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey was
received well from all quarters. Now, the actor is joining Colors’ Ishq Mein
Marjawan starring Arjun Bijlani, Nia Sharma and Alisha Panwar. Shoaib took to
social media to make an announcement and also revealed the look of the show. He
wrote, “Ishq me marne, aur maarne, aa raha hu main ek naye kirdaar ke saath!
Kirdaar naya, naata puraana @colorstv! Can’t be
happier to associate with Colors after a long time, and of course can’t keep
calm to meet guys super soon and yes can’t wait to play this all new avatar!

The actor’s
introduction on the show will bring in a new twist. He will come in Aarohi’s
(Nia Sharma) saviour as Tara (Aalisha Panwar) and Virat (Vineet Raina) try to
kill her. Eventually, he will develop feelings for Aarohi and it will become a
love triangle between Nia, Arjun and Shoaib.

Before Shoaib,
Gaurav Chopraa was finalised to play this character but due to some last minute
changes the former stepped in the role and immediately started
shooting. Shoaib became extremely popular as Prem from Sasural Simar Ka
also found his life partner Dipika Kakar while working on the project. The
actress is currently a participant in Bigg Boss 12.
