Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Sameer Sharma was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on Wednesday night. The 44-year-old actor was seen hanging in his Mumbai’s Malad apartment by the building watchman. As reported by Mid-Day, the police officials suspected that Sameer Sharma was dead since two days before he was found and revealed that no suicide note was found. As the actor was active on social media during the lockdown, two weeks before his death, Sameer Sharma made a post about late Sushant Singh Rajput and spoke about mental health.
On Instagram, Sameer Sharma made a post talking about mental health on July 22, 2020. The actor made the post exactly two weeks before his death around the time when theories related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s mental health did rounds on the internet and the media. Sharing the post, Sameer Sharma wrote, “Read this if you cared about Sushant Singh Rajput.” Sharma requested everyone out there to read the post penned by him if people cared about Sushant Singh Rajput. In the post, the late Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor tried to decipher the reason behind Sushant’s death, throwing light on the need for people to understand mental health and depression.
In the post, Sameer Sharma mentioned how his penned down words need the readers time. He mentioned he is talking about mental health and called depression a very ‘lonely disease’, further adding how it’s a highly misunderstood one. The late serial actor then listed down how a person undergoing depression feels. He then asked the readers if they understood the meaning of taking one’s life and mentioned how it is scary. Sameer Sharma asked people to give love to a depressed person and make him feel proud of the fight he’s fighting.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. It was recently that the late actor’s father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and six others accusing them of abetment of suicide. As many fans continued to seek justice for Sushant after his sudden demise, on the request of the Bihar government, the Centre recently accepted the plea for a CBI probe in the actor’s case.
