Ridhima Pandit, Saumya Tandon And Vahbiz Dorabjee Share Their Diet Plan To Stay Fit And Healthy During Coronavirus Lockdown- EXCLUSIVE
During the lockdown period, several celebs have been taking up their hobbies to while away their time at home. Now, we spoke to a few TV actresses who have been endorsing healthy diet plans. Ridhima Pandit, Saumya Tandon and Vahbiz Dorabjee share their diet plans to stay in shape when at home.

Ridhima said, "In my free time, I used to go out and shop for this gourmet stuff. Then come home and cook. Basically, experiment all the time. If it doesn't taste good, then I used to have it in small quantity. But as we are not stepping out of the house, I am sticking to very basic food (Roti, Dal, Sabzi, Rice) with the help of my mother's recipes and definitely not cooking something on experimental basis as we have to manage on available things. Right now we have to keep ourselves healthy and make our immune system stronger. So my breakfast consists of poha, upma or a sabudana khichdi. And lunch is one sabzi, some roti, daal and rice because pulses are extremely important right now. I have been properly taking my carbs and doing stretching, yoga to stay fit. Again at dinner, I have some soup followed by roti, sabzi, rice and paneer".

Saumya Tandon who essays the character of Anita in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai not only revealed her diet plan, but also mentioned, "Food is quite an issue for me but as my cook comes from outside, so I have given him a paid leave of four months. Thankfully my mother and maid are helping me in cooking. I had foreseen it coming so I have stocked up on enough grains, pulses and brown rice. I usually eat jawar ki roti. But getting fresh vegetables is quite difficult in these times. So I am not going out to buy it I don't feel I should panic. After 3-4 days, I am sure things will ease out so will step out and get some vegetables and fruits myself, but of course with mask and gloves. Thankfully, the milk is being delivered at home so we are making curd out of it and homemade paneer. I have also stored lot of sweet potatoes so I boil them and eat. Today, I made sabudana khichdi. My shout out to everyone is don't go and buy vegetables in bulk as you use them as per your need only. If you panic and buy to store in your house then that will not reach to everyone who needs it. So try and manage with whatever you have".

She added, "Also, I’m avoiding sugar and any sort of fattening food. Please avoid eating too much breads, pav, chips, biscuits and cokes which lot of people tend to do as these are easier things to avoid cooking. I anyway never get such things at my house. My husband is very fond of namkeens so I try and hide that also many a times. To keep myself hydrated, I am making one litre of patli chaas everyday. It gives you calcium, protein and it's very good for your stomach.”

As for Vahbiz Dorabjee, she is not facing a crisis thanks to her mother. She told, "Well luckily, I'm at my parents house and my mom is always well stocked up.So we are sticking to simple home food.I believe in eating everything but in small quantities and there can be nothing better than home food. So we are making the most of it even by staying indoors and using our culinary skills. We are sticking to more veg food".
