If you are an ardent follower of Nach Baliye 9, then this morning you must have consumed the news of show’s winning Jodi- Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula. Now, this is not an official announcement from the makers or the channel (STAR plus) and the news has not come out courtesy a spying journalist on the set but it is all thanks to the winners’ families.
The show which kick-started with 12 jodis in July, shot for its finale episode, yesterday at the Malad studio. The directives given to all present on the set, including the participants, like every year was that no one can speak about the winners or reveal their names. BUT channels and makers’ efforts went kaput when the news travelled out of the set in no time.
SpotboyE.com has found out how it all happened. During the shoot of the finale episode, families of all the jodis were present to cheer for their loved ones. Yuvika and Prince’s extended family had also come to support the Jodi. So, when their names were announced, they couldn’t handle their excitement and a few of them went LIVE on social media to share their happiness. Now, we all know how anything on a digital platform gets picked and goes viral before you know it.
Not just this, Narulas had also brought a few dhol-tasha wallas on-the-set to celebrate in case Yuvika and Prince win. So, when the name was announced, Prince’s family members carried him out on their shoulders and the dhol wallas sprung into action, making it quite obvious who the winner is.
A source from the sets told us, “The production team tried their level best to control the situation and stop them from revealing the names but it was too late and fans had already picked the names by then.”
Now, with everyone knowing who the Nach Baliye 9 winners are, we wonder if the TRPs of the finale episode take a hit, next week.
