Naagin 4’s Jasmin Bhasin Reveals Having Self-Doubt As A Child; Says 'I Felt Like An Ugly Duckling'
Jasmin Bhasin who has now made an exit from the popular supernatural show Naagin 4 made a shocking revelation about batling with self-doubt issue and how she embraced it and flaunted it
Jasim Bhasin needs no introduction as now she is considered to be one of the top TV actresses, all the credit goes to Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show, Naagin 4. Ever since she played Nayantara in the show, appreciation from the fans came in order. Jasmin made her small screen debut with Tashan-E-Ishq, but gained fame and recognition after starring in Dil Se Dil Tak and later she starred in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. But did you know, this actress battled with self-doubt issue and she used to feel that she looked like ugly duckling? Yes, in a recent interview, Jasim got all candid and made some shocking revelation.
While speaking to Pinkvilla, she was quoted saying, “Acting was never planned. I happened to do an ad which was hugely publicised. After that, I got an offer for a South Indian movie and I thought this is destiny calling. I spoke to my parents and they were petty supportive." She also said that while she did face a lot of rejections in the industry, it did not really affect her too much as, during her growing up days, she said, “I felt like an ugly duckling.” However, she finally embraced and flaunted it when she started getting offers.
Meanwhile, Jasmin has bid her farewell to the show and after her exit, SpotboyE.com got in touch with the actress and when asked about the reason behind her sudden disappearance from Naagin 4, she replied, "I am sorry if the audience got disappointed with this but Naagin is a show which is full of twists and turns and my exit was one of those. When the show started, the first twist was that I (Nayantara) am the Naagin but eventually it wasn't me but Brinda (Nia)."
