Bigg Boss 13 finalist Rashami Desai recently entered TV's most popular supernatural drama, Naagin 4. The actress is seen playing the character of Shalaka, who is Vishakha's (Anita Hasanandani) daughter and Dev (Vijyendra Kumeria) wife. But did you know, it was not Rashami Desai waho was the first choice for the role!
That's right! SpotboyE.com has heard that it was Mahira Sharma who was first approached to play the character.
A source close to Mahira, told us, "Mahira who was also part of Naagin 3 was offered to do a comeback in this season with this new character. However, she said no to it as the actress is in no mood to take up any daily soaps and want to focus more on music videos and films. Post which, the offer went to Rashami Desai and she said yes for it."
We wonder if Rashami was aware about this before signing the dotted lines, considering the two ladies have been actively hanging out and making videos together after coming out of the Bigg Boss 13 house.
Talking about Rashami, well, the actress has received tremendous response for her portrayal. In fact, her latest promo where she is seen having a fight with Dev's ex-wife, Brinda (Nia Sharma) is breaking the Internet.
We sent a text to Mahira Sharma to confirm the news but she remained unavailable for comment.
