In the same case, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was also seen at Pant Nagar Police Station (Ghatkopar East). Videos of the popular actress began flying on social media in no time. It was being written that Devoleena has been detained in the same case. However, this morning, we spoke to the police who clarified that the actress has not been detained. Senior PI (Pant Nagar), Rohini Kale, told us, “Devoleena has not been detained. She is not with us anymore.” When asked about Sachin Pawar, she said, “He has been arrested.” Our next question was –Is he suspected of involvement in Udani murder case? Pat came the reply, “Yes.”
On Tuesday, the police had registered a case of murder after the 57-year-old diamond trader was found dead on the railway tracks of Panvel. He had gone missing last week. It is said that Udani had gone to meet a lady in Andheri after which his phone was switched off. The police is said to have questioned many models and television actresses in this case, as the businessman led a very flashy lifestyle.
