Kushal Punjabi's suicide came as a big shock to his family and the industry. Some of his close friends, like Chetan Hansraj, came forward and shared their views about the actor, his struggles and depression, after his demise- one of them was also his ex, Meghna Naidu. The actress had spoken to us exclusively at that time and said she will definitely contact his family.
SpotboyE.com now hears that Meghna, recently, did send a condolence message to Kushal Punjabi's cousins, who she is still in touch with. The actress has been friends with them since the time she dated Kushal.
For those who'v come in late, Meghna and Kushal were in a serious relationship, much before the actor tied the knot with Audrey Dolhen. They split in 2010.
In an earlier interview, right after Kushal's demise, while talking about when Meghna last spoke to him, the actress shared that she had crossed path with him at an event and interestingly, the two of them did not ignore each other. "We did talk but there was nothing much between us that we could have a long conversation- we had nothing in common, so it was restricted to basically the basic pleasantries of Hi and Hello," Meghna had told us.
