It’s Life, It Happens, Ho Gaya: Kiran Karmarkar On Split With Rinku Dhawan
After speculations of Kiran Karmarkar and Rinku Dhawan ending their 15-year marriage spread like wild fire, the couple confirms that they have called it quits
This morning, we
woke up to the speculations of Kiran Karmarkar and Rinku Dhawan’s marriage
having hit a rocky patch.
The couple has
been together for 15 years and are parents to a teenage son. Confirming the
news, Rinku told SpotboyE.com, “Yes, Kiran and I are no longer together.
However, I have not yet decided whether I will file for divorce or not.”
The actress
revealed that she and Kiran have been living apart for 12-15 months, however
refused to elaborate on what led to the split.

When
contacted, Kiran too admitted to the separation, but when asked what led the
couple to take the drastic step, he simply said, “Zindagi hai ho jaata hai. I
am a low profile person and stay away from parties. So why would I want to
discuss what led Rinku and me to part ways?”

Rinku and Kiran
had first met on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s popular soap, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii,
in which they played siblings. Soon friendship blossomed into love and the two
tied the knot in 2002.

On the
professional front, Kiran was last seen in the show Tamanna and Dhhai Kilo
Prem. Rinku, on the other hand, featured in Yeh Vaada Raha.
The actress
suddenly quit the show a year ago and made way for sister Ashita Dhawan
Gulabani.
