The upcoming film Panga directed by Kangana Ranaut has been garnering a lot of attention since the release of the trailer. With Kangana Ranaut giving her best for promoting the film, in a video shared by a fan page of the actress, an Indian Idol 11 contestant was honoured with a chance to sing a song in the film. Yes, you heard that right, singing reality show Indian Idol’s contestant Sunny Hindustani records a song for the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s film Panga.
On Twitter, Kangana Ranaut’s Fanclub shared a heart-warming video as Indian Idol 11 contestant Sunny Hindustani records a song for her upcoming film Panga. In the video, Indian Idol 11 judges, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani are seen watching a video clipping of Sunny Hindustani recording a song for Panga. Sunny Hinustani records his first song in the studio with Shankar Mahadevan and Javed Akhtar and the video is unmissable. The video also features Shankar Mahadevan and the singer-composer is seen singing praises of Sunny Hindustani in the video. The video shared on Twitter read, “Indian Idol contestant Sunny Hindustani in the studio with Shankar Mahadevan and Javed Akhtar to record a song for #Panga.” As Sunny Hindustani a normal boy’s dream of singing for a Bollywood movie is fulfilled, Shankar Mahadevan compliments’ the contestant for his melodious voice and singing even after not receiving training.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut’s film Panga is helmed by director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film stars Kangana Ranaut and Punjabi actor Jassie Gill in pivotal roles. Panga also stars Neena Gupta and Richa Chadha. The film is slated to release on January 24, 2020, in theatres nearby.
