Ekta Kapoor Breaks Her Silence, Bashes Hindustani Bhau: 'Won’t Bow Down To Uncivilized Cyber Bullying-Rape Threats'-VIDEO

Ekta Kapoor breaks her silence regarding her controversial show XXX Uncensored 2, the FIR, and rape threats she is getting. She also bashed Hindutani Bhau in this video.

Ekta Kapoor Breaks Her Silence, Bashes Hindustani Bhau: 'Won’t Bow Down To Uncivilized Cyber Bullying-Rape Threats'-VIDEO
Ekta Kapoor has been facing some abhorrent and heart-rending comments by certain social media bullies. A few days back Hindustani Bhau of Bigg Boss fame filed an FIR against the producer for apparently disrespecting the Indian Army. In his legal notice, he demanded that Ekta should apologize and also pay damages amounting to Rs 100 crore to the Indian government. Later he also released a video on his IGTV where he made controversial statements against Ekta Kapoor and her family. Today Ekta finally spoke up during a chat with noted author and columnist Shobha De and addressed this issue.  

When Shobha De asked her on the current threat and wrath she has been facing on social media, Ekta revealed that the final show episodes are not approved by her but when the controversy started she did remove the scene from the certain episode and was going to render an apology but certain uncivilized elements stopped her from doing so. She shared, "As an individual and as an organization we are deeply respectful towards the Indian army.  Their contribution to our well being and security is immense. Yes, we shall readily tender an unconditional apology if such a demand comes from any bonafide army institution. But we won’t bow down to uncivilized cyberbullying and rape threats by random elements.”



In this video, we see how Ekta is taking a stand against cyberbullying because tomorrow there can be any other woman in her place facing the same outrage and somewhere this needs to end. Watch the video here: 

Ekta also went on to reveal that she and her mother and her family have been getting rape threats, which is completely uncalled for. Meanwhile, in another incident, an FIR has been lodged against Ekta and three more people in Madhya Pradesh for spreading obscenity, hurting religious sentiments, and insulting national emblems through her web-series. News agency ANI tweeted, "Madhya Pradesh: FIR registered against Producer Ekta Kapoor in Indore alleging insult to the national emblem, Hindu gods & Army personnel in Alt Balaji's XXX web series."
