TV actress Chahatt Khanna created a stir on social media after she shared a photo with playback singer Mika Singh. The picture of the two was not the matter of concern but the hashtag #quarantinelove and the caption she used for her post which later became the talk of the town as it invited some unwelcoming and some welcoming responses from the netizens. It set the social media users’ tongues wagging when she captioned saying that she is glad to have found each other in this lockdown and people started wondering if cupid has struck for the two and wanted to if something is 'brewing between the two.'
And from there onwards the rumours about them dating started which also sparked off the rumours of Chahatt and Mika's live-in relationship. Clearing the air, the Bade Acche Lagte Hain actress finally broke her silence on these speculations and revealed the truth about what's going on between them to Pinkvilla. She was quoted saying, “Apparently, there are too many stories about it. There are reports that we are in live-in-relation. There might be new news that they might be married. We were friends pehle se.”
Speaking about how the two are together, she further told, “We met for a coffee in the past to discuss work and that’s how we connected. We shot something on our mobile camera. Just two of us and the one who shot for us. We didn’t plan anything as such. We didn’t think that when we just updated a post and all these reports came out. Now we are scratching our head and not able to understand why these reports. Nothing more or nothing less to this.”
A few days ago, Chahatt had revealed to Bollywood Spy about her collaboration with Mika Singh and also revealing about the pictures to be a part of the promotional plan as she was quoted, “That’s what the whole promotion plan was, to do something that creates a question in everyone’s minds,” she said. Chahatt further revealed that many people have unfollowed her, thinking she was in a relationship with Mika. “I don’t know why people have problems with him, he is a very nice person.
