Sanjay Dutt Will Dance To Sachin-Jigar’s Tunes In Comeback Film Bhoomi
Bhoomi, the revenge drama starring Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari, will have music composed by Sachin-Jigar
Composer duo Sachin-Jigar is known for their poppy, romantic numbers. Their
score for Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Meri Pyaari Bindu got
great reviews. But their next project will be a change of pace for them.
Sachin-Jigar have been signed up for Bhoomi, the revenge
drama which will mark Sanjay Dutt’s comeback to Bollywood.
A source close to the film told SpotboyE.com: “The duo has done some amazing work
in the past and Bhoomi’s director Omung Kumar was impressed by their work,
which is why he asked the duo to compose music for Sanjay’s film.
Initially he had asked the duo to send a few tunes to suit the situations in
the film. Omung liked the tunes and then rest as they say is history.”

The source further added that the songs of the film have
already been recorded and Sachin-Jigar are in the process of mixing the final
melodies.
Bhoomi explores the relationship between a father and a
daughter and features Aditi Rao Hydari and Sayyeshaa Saigal.
Bhoomi was slated to hit screens on August 4 along
with Aamir Khan’s production Secret Superstar. Since Aamir and Sanjay go back a
long way and share a very good rapport, the former postponed the release of his
film. Bhoomi will now release on September 22.
