Farhan Akhtar Ropes In Phillauri Composer Jasleen Royal For Fukrey 2
Singer-Composer Jasleen Royal is grinning from ear to ear. She has a big catch in her bag- Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's second instalment of Fukrey. The film stars Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chaddha in lead roles

told you that the original composer of Fukrey--Ram Sampat will not be a part of
the film's second instalment as the producers are keen on working with new
people with fresher ideas.
Buzz then was that the film's
producers, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani (Excel
Entertainment) had roped in Bano Tera Swagger composer Tanishk Bagchi for a
couple of songs in the film. When contacted this evening, Bagchi confirmed,
"Well, we are indeed talking. But nothing is finalised yet."
Now, we hear, Excel Entertainment has asked Jasleen Royal to sing and compose
one song for the film.
As per a source close to the production house, “Excel Entertainment had liked
Jasleen’s work in Phillauri.

They gave her a situation and asked her to make one song, which she cracked
efficiently.
The producers liked the output and took her on board."
The source further informed that the final draft of the track is however yet to
be done.
When contacted, Jasleen's manager confirmed, "Yes, that's true. Jasleen is
singing and composing a song in the second instalment of the Fukrey
franchise."
We had also told you that Excel Entertainment have finalised Dhakad rapper Raftaar for a song in the same
film.
Fukrey 2 stars Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh, Vishakha Singh, Priya
Anand and Varun Sharma. The film is being directed by Mrigdeep Singh
Lamba. The sequel went on floors in November 2016. A large part of the
shoot has happened in Delhi.
