The makers of Angrezi Medium have dropped a new song, Laadki, in Rekha Bhardwaj’s soulful voice. Picturised on Kareena Kapoor Khan, the song defines the father-daughter’s relationship in the film
After dropping multiple tracks, the makers of Angrezi Medium, starring Irrfan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan, dropped a new song, Laadki. The Laadki song is a beautiful rendition of Sachin-Jigar’s famous Coke Studio song with the same name in Rekha Bhardwaj’s soulful voice. As the film is set to hit the theaters this Friday, makers are leaving no chance to keep the film’s buzz alive. The song is majorly picturised on Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays a pivotal role in the film.
Laadki is crooned by Rekha Bhardwaj and Sachin Sanghvi-Jigar Saraiya, while the music is composed by Sachin-Jigar. Lyrics are penned by Jigar’s wife Priya Saraiya. The 2.5-min long song sees Bebo looking stunning in all-white attire. As Angrezi Medium is based on father-daughter, Irrfan and Radhika Madan’s relationship, Laadki is sure to tug your hearts. The beautiful rendition sees the sweet nok-jhok between Irrfan and Radhika and is dedicated to all the daughters out there.
A few days back, the Angrezi Medium makers dropped Kudi Nu Nachne De, featured on Bollywood Divas like Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, and Radhika Madan. Actresses are seen pouring their heart out and dancing like no one’s watching. The song, Kudi Nu Nachne De was dropped to celebrate Women’s day.
Apart from Bebo, Irrfan and Radhika, the film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Kiku Sharda and Deepak Dobriyal in the key roles. The film will hit the theaters on March 13, 2020.
