Subodh Bhave is the superstar with a sense of responsibility. He has proven this with his notable contribution to giving back to society. Besides being a talented actor and director, Subodh has been extensively involved in social initiatives like being the brand ambassador of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in Pune and starting a YouTube channel ‘Subodh Dadachi Goshta’ to keep alive, the art of storytelling for kids. 

He also helped by donating in the Kolhapur flood relief. His social awareness campaign during the flood relief was overwhelming. He recently visited the exhibition presented by the Yerwada jail prisoners and shared the joy of rehabilitation of this section of our society. 

Recently, Subodh Bhave took to Instagram to share the update about his recent initiative ‘Maitar’. This is a platform where subject matter experts share facts, stories, and opinions about their respective fields. His aim is to help citizens overcome their lack of information and engage in productive discussions that help shape society and culture. The session held by Kashmiri Pandit Sushi Pandit was an eye-opener about the ground realities of Kashmiri Pandits. 

This event was attended by Kaushal Inamdar, Sumeet Raghvan, Suyash Tilak, Spruha Joshi, Amit Bhandari, Vaibhav Chinchalkar, Sagar More, Abhijeet Deshpande, Ajay Parchure, Pratik Kolhe, and more. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, the Marathi audience worldwide is a fan of his acting in films like, ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusli’, ‘Balgandharva’ and ‘Aani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar'. His theatre projects like ‘Ashrunchi Jhali Phule’ are also gaining worldwide success. Subodh will be seen next in ‘Bhaybheet, a horror Marathi film releasing in May 2020. His upcoming film with Subhash Ghai, ‘Vijeta’ too is up for entertaining fans!
