With a romantic start to his career writer and director, Vinay Gholap has come up with a Marathi movie Neighbours starring Chetan Chitnis and Krutika Gaikwad. This film is a debut as a director for Vinay Gholap and after his lead role in the movie Photocopy, Chetan will be seen doing the lead character as Roshan in this movie and Krutika after her recent movie Dhumas will be seen playing a lead female character as Prerna in this movie. Prerna is apparently an extraterrestrial being.
Everyone is excited about the movie. Even the trailer of this movie has gained more than 194k views in just a week. As this love story has a scientific touch to it, the audience is curious about the story. What they are loving the most is the musical treat of the film, the songs! The makers just released a new song, Swapna Nave, increasing our curiosity!
This movie is based on a love story of Roshan who is a Mumbai boy and wants to be an actor and Prerna an artist who has grown in Pune and gone to the US for studying Fine arts. After becoming neighbors, they meet each other Roshan falls in love with her. Prerna on the other side is a sweet and curious girl who is always looking at stars trying to contact aliens on other planets. Roshan doesn’t have any idea from where she came. Later he comes to know that she doesn’t belong to the earth and is from other planets.
Is Prerna really an alien? Who is she trying to contact so desperately? What if not only Prerna but also Roshan is an alien? What will happen in their love story?
