Kasak: Priya Marathe Unveils The Character Poster From Her Brand New Web Series

Marathi star Priya Marathe plays the role of a top-notch lawyer in Minisha Lamba, Vineet Raina, and Taniya Chatterjee starrer web series Kasak. The actress took it to Instagram to share the character poster of her series. It is now streaming on the OTT platform Ullu.
This series is inspired by true events that happened in the unfortunate case of Aruna Shanbaug who was left with severe brain damage and paralysis after She was raped and assaulted by a ward attendant in the year 1973. Post this accident the nurse was fed through the nose to keep her alive. There was an intense court battle where her lawyer pleaded for euthanasia, but the Supreme Court had rejected her plea that would allow her to die sooner and free her of her pain. After years of painful survival, she died in the hospital itself. The nurse was 25 years old when she was attacked and died at the age of 66.
Priya Marathe who rose to fame after Pavitra Rishta and several Marathi projects like Chaar Divas Sasuche and films like Ti Ani Itar will play the role of this headstrong lawyer. Kasak is produced by Ullu App's CEO Vibhu Agarwal, co-produced by Dreamzz Images Studio and directed by Deepak Pandey. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
