The most lavish wedding in the Bollywood industry in the recent past has been that of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The affair was a lavish one and the venue played a vital role in the whole wedding. The wedding ceremonies were held at Taj’s Umaid Bhawan Palace which by far is one of the most picturesque venues in the world. Just a look at it is breathtaking. Umaid Bhawan Palace is situated at Jodhpur, Rajasthan and is considered one of the masterpieces of Rajasthan heritage.
The Umaid Bhawan Palace had been named after Maharaja Umaid Singh. A part of it is owned by Taj who maintain the heritage and hospitality of the palace. It still resides the Jodhpur’s erstwhile royals and is currently one of the largest private residences in the world. The magnificent palace is spread across 26 acres which includes 15 acres of beautiful, lush gardens that have been well-maintained. It served as the perfect venue and a backdrop for Priyanka and Nick’s grand wedding.
