The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 3 Trailer Review: This Show Is Unstoppable
A year after Season 2, Prime Video original show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is scheduled to come back this December. With the trailer out just a few days ago, here’s what we can expect from the new season
A few months ago, we saw the official teaser for Prime Video original show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which was making a comeback for the third season. Like we saw in the teaser, Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan)’s life had changed quite a bit since Season 2 and she was now touring. With a blink-and-miss appearance from Sterling K Brown of This Is Us fame, the excitement was palpable.
On 14th October, we finally were gifted the full trailer for Season 3 and it looks even bigger and better than the first two seasons. In terms of storyline, it seems that the new season picks off right where Season 2 left off. For those who don’t remember, Midge was offered a chance to tour with one of the biggest comedians, Shy Baldwin. This came as a landmark point in her career and Midge accepted! Also, after months of separation, Joel and Midge share a kiss at the end of the last episode. Does this mean that things might look up for these two?
The trailer doesn’t really answer these questions – we’ll have to watch the show for that – but we see a ultra glam tour life that Midge is having. She is in Miami and a lot of other places, performing in front of huge audiences, living a life of almost stardom, with her manager, Susie in tow. It also seems that Season 3 will delve into their working relationship a bit more, now that Midge is in the big leagues.
We also see snippets of Joel and he is unhappy with Midge being away. Overall, the trailer is a whole lot of fun, just like the show is. Now with over 16 Emmy awards in the kitty, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a fine show that gets better with each season. Here’s looking forward to the third season!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will be out on December 6th on Amazon Prime Video.
