Siddhi Patel (Maanvi Gagroo), Anjana Menon (Kirti Kulhari), Umang Singh (Bani J) and Damini Roy (Sayani Gupta) - or as we call them, The Feisty Four, are back with the 2nd season of Four More Shots Please on Amazon Prime Videos. Just like Season 1, in the 2nd season too, we witness the 4 girls experiencing personal and professional upheavals.
Four More Shots Please Season 2 is no different than its previous season which released last year. Created by Rangita Pritish Nandy, this 10-episodic series will remind you of the 90's music album era!
A heart-broken Siddhi Patel is enjoying a Euro trip sponsored by her parents. On the trip too, she encounters a heartbreak and rings up her best-friend Umang, who then, in turn, convinces the other two - Damini and Anjana to fly to Istanbul in order help Siddhi deal with her stress.
But remember, the "Big Fight" at the end of season 1?! As they say, a friend in need is a friend indeed - and next we know, all 3 girls are on a flight to Istanbul, to save their darling Siddhi Patel! This is followed by a lot of roothna manana and filling in the blanks that were left open at the end of the 1st season.
Be it Maanvi’s performance as Siddhi, who is exploring her newfound womanhood or Kirti’s portrayal of the confident yet insecure Anjana or Sayani’s portrayal of Damini who is in a dilemma to choose between her two love interests or Bani’s portrayal of Umang who is still in love with her superstar girlfriend Samaira – it is the performances of these four girls that keep the pace and show going!
The show lacks direction and seems to be jumping scenes – giving a feeling that the makers wanted to cramp in all the material they had in just this season!
Watch it for the four girls who have put their best foot forward, so our verdict is Binge-worthy!
