Anushka Sharma’s debut production OTT show Paatal Lok is receiving praise from one and all. The show, which released on Amazon Prime, a few days back, has been trending on social media as it has got netizens hooked to the web show. On the other hand, Paatal Lok also made headlines for promoting Hinduphobia in the show. It happened when a section of Netizens seemed displeased. They slammed the makers and demanded a ban trending several hashtags such as #BanPaatalLok, # BoycottPataalLok among others. 

A while back, Bollywood celebs like Vicky Kaushal, Vaani Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor have taken to Instagram to review the show. Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Excuse me for my extreme reaction. Anushka Sharma there was no other way I could think of to react to your latest show! Paatal Lok was off the hook. Loved it.” Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh too review the film and wrote, “straight-up scorcher.”

On the premier day of Paatal Lok, Virat Kohli had taken to social media to share a seflie with the show in the background. He had captioned it, “Having watched the whole season of PAATAL LOK a while ago, I knew it's a masterpiece of storytelling, screenplay and tremendous acting. Now having seen how people loved it too, just confirmed how I saw the show. Proud of my love @anushkasharma for producing sucha gripping series and believing in her team along with our bhaiji @kans26 . Well done brother”

While Anushka Sharma had written, “Sab lok ke sab log ab dekh rahe hai #PaatalLok. Go watch. Streaming NOW on @primevideoin.”
