Steve Carell who became everyone’s favourite in The Office will be reuniting with The Office showrunner and Parks and Recreation co-creator Greg Daniels again for a new series titled, Space Force which will be premiering on Netflix. However, adding to the excitement, the star who will be starring opposite to this veteran actor is Friends star Phoebe Buffay aka Lisa Kudrow. Yep, the actress would be joining The Office's Steve Carell for one of the most highly-anticipated Netflix comedy series in recent memory. Just recently, the OTT platform shared the first look posters of the cast and must say, it looks pretty intriguing and we can’t wait to watch it.

While sharing the pictures on their Twitter handle, they wrote, “FIRST LOOK: Steve Carell is the head of Space Force, the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces. John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Diana Silvers, and Lisa Kudrow co-star in @realSpaceForce, created by Carell & The Office's Greg Daniels. Premiering May 29” Even Lisa shared the first picture on her Instagram feed and backed with, “Space is...hard. Space Force is coming May 29 to Netflix. @spaceforce”

Talking about more about Steve and Lisa’s character in the new series, Carell plays four-star general Mark R Naird. According to Digital Spy, his character dreams of running the Air Force. On the other hand, Kudrow will be playing Naird's wife Maggie, a Washington mainstay whose own ambition is taking her on a separate path from her husband.


Speaking of Space Force, it is touted to be like "a new kind of workplace comedy.” The series also stars the two-time Academy Award nominee John Malkovich, Sonic the Hedgehog star Ben Schwartz and The Walking Dead's Noah Emmerich. Steve Carell and Lisa Kudrow starring Space Force will be premiering on Netflix on May 29.
