Kajol To Make Her Digital Debut; Actress Joins Hands With Netflix To Star In Ajay Devgn Production's, Tribhanga

After ruling the silver screen with her films like DDLJ, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dilwale, Kajol is all set to make her digital debut. The actress, who was last seen in Eela Helicopter, will be seen in husband Ajay Devgn’s venture Tribhanga. And the Bollywood couple have joined hands with Netflix. With Kajol marking her digital debut with Tribhanga, it has also become Devgn’s first digital venture, which will be co-produced by Deepak Dhar-led Banijay Asia and filmmaker Siddharth P Malhotra’s Alchemy Productions.
Tribhanga, which is helmed by Renuka Shahane, the story is based on a dysfunctional family of three women played by Mithila Palkar and Tanvi Azmi, apart from Kajol. The tale of three generations from the 1980s to present day, will be set in Mumbai.
Taking about the same to Ajay said in a statement, “OTT platforms are growing every day, garnering richer content for audiences and are deemed to be the future of entertainment. With a digital platform, there is freedom to tell stories in the most authentic way possible, and the ability to take those stories to an audience that may not necessarily be just in India.” Devgn also stated that the digital medium truly represents endless possibilities which his company is excited to explore with Netflix.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn is gearing up for his upcoming films like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi.
