All the Disney fans across India, here’s presenting a disappointing piece of news for you guys! The Hotstar logo was merged with that of Disney+ and we got to see several Disney shows and movie. However, now, it turns out that they have taken it down, in less than 24 hours.

Hours after Disney+ was launched on Hotstar yesterday, a lot of Twitter users expressed their disappointment on how the Disney + content have vanished from the app after they updated it. A user pointed out, “Recently I have updated Hotstar app, it now has the blue icon, I have Hotstar premium subscription but I am not able to find the option to access Disney+. I am using iPhone 6s, running in iOS 13.3.1, Hotstar app version 8.06. Please help.”

However, it turns out that Hotstar had earlier issued a clarification stating that the availability of Disney+ content was a part of its beta trial, only for limited members. It added how the official launch of Disney+ content on Hotstar India is slated to be unveiled on March 29, as announced in the past. A spokesperson from Hotstar, in his/her official statement, said, “A limited release of the beta version of the Disney+ Hotstar app is currently being tested with a small number of consumers, in preparation for the full-fledged app launch on 29th March.”

Clearly, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in making all the Hotstar users’ experience with Disney+ a lot more memorable and enjoyable, hence the beta test to work on its possible bugs and errors. Can March 29 come already?
